We invite you to celebrate with us International Day for Biological Diversity. Look for us at Green Week and listen to our lecture, titled Live water - frombiodiversity to the tap, at 12 pm. Green Week will take place in 22nd May 2012 in Miklošičev park in Ljubljana. In case of rain the event will be moved to Center Evropa, Dalmatinova 4, Ljubljana. Official invitation (in Slovene).
Earth Day 2012

Every year 22nd April is dedicated to Earth. This year Earth Day came on Sunday, therefore we already carried out events earlier in the week. We had two workshops in Aqualutra centre. First for students of Ecology with Nature Conservation from University of Maribor and the second for pupils of primary school Gornji Petrovci. The latter was also filmed by RTV Slovenia camera team. Besides the workshops we also joined Eco bazaar that accompanied Eco conference. Lutra instute's stand was visited by the president of the Republic of Slovenia himself.
Coordination committee of the project established

Soon after oficial start of Aquaviva project we invited partners, co-financers, participants and associates of the project to first meeting of coordination committee. Tasks of the committee is following project activities, accepting important decisions and helping coordinator to coordinate activities. The meeting took place on 19th October 2011 in Otter Information Centre Aqualutra in Goričko, where all the participants got a chance to meet each other and get familiar with the project and shared actions. We also invited numerouse media to the event, but there was no response. The missing partakers were informed about results of the meeting later.
