Aquaviva at 6th Pile-dwellers' day

On Saturday, 17th August 2013, Aquaviva team will participate in the implementation of the 6th Pile-dwellers' day, which will be held at Draga near Ig. At our stand you will be able to observe small aquatic animals under the magnifier from a nearby pond, get to know the otter and create a cute beaver. In addition, you will able to participate in numerous workshops that be prepared by the Society Fran Govekar Ig. Join us from 10 am to 6 pm and explore the pile-dwelling animal world.
Diatoms are inviting in Arboretum Volčji Potok

Do you still remember exhibition The Revealed River Wonders? 22 panels, representing the diatoms diversity of Ljubljanica River, left Krakovski nasip in May. For a while they were stored, but now they are again available to public. This time the exhibition is hosted by Volčji Potok Arboretum. By kindly offering space and preparing frames, Arboretum enabled an insight into microscopic world of these algae. Welcome to visit Arboretum and the exhibition.
Boomerangers visited centre Aqualutra

On Tuesday, 30th July 2013, we had a special visit in centre Aqualutra in Križevci, Goričko. Next door, in sport centre Križevci, children have a summer camp Boomerang of happiness. Children came to visit in two groups. During the visit they met otter, their mysterious neighbour. With the help of mounted animals children met otter's relatives, they touched otter's fur, counted fingers on otter's paw ... for the end we visited nearby stream with the yougest children. There children could catch and see smaller freshwater inhabitants. Lovely visit, filled with infant curiosity. Insight in our day is available in the gallery.
