Aquaviva is a Life+ Information & Communication project with a goal to raise awarness on freshwater biodiversity issues. One of the methods how to measure the level of awareness is also by performing a survey. Therefore we prepared a survey based on Eurobarometer survey, performed in 2007 and 2010, which will enable us comparison of our results with Eurobarometer results. We performe the survey at different events, where we present project Aquaviva. Results will be available after the end of the project.

Meanwhile you can also participate in the survey. Just below there is a short survey. If you already participated in it, you can see the results.

How do you see biodiversity? As willows dunking their branches into the depth? As flock of mallards on a lake? Mysterious footprints on a river bank? A pond in an evening sun? Share with us your vision of biodiversity and take a part in the photo contests entitled Live water. Since the photo contest is aiming on Slovenian public, it is prepared only in Slovenina language. 

There are three categories:

• I am biodiversity too: portrets of freshwater organisms,
• We are all in this together: photos of freshwater ecosystems,
• I am disapperaing: photos of threats to freshwater biodiversity.

Photo contest is open to everybody and can be accessed on our Slovenian project website and  through project Facebook page. You can enter your photos until 10^th March 2014.
