Ljubljana Moors have been representing a research area for pupils of primary schools Oskar Kovačič in Ljubljana already for 20 years. Anniversary was celebrated with special event for parents and children. Institute Lutra was invited to present their work nad projects. First pupils represented their researches of Ljubljana Moors, taking place on a working Saturday (6th April 2013). Afterwards Mrs. Marjana Hönigsfeld Adamič, project manager, presented project Aquaviva and freshwater biodiversity with otter and beaver at the head. In the end visitors had a chance to stop at our stand and learn more on freshwater biodiversity. Many visitors took the opportunity and shared with us their own observations of freshwater mammals, which was in most cases coypu.
The stand was co-financed by the City of Ljubljana.
