Lectures on Invasive Alien Species

In September and October 2013 we performed a lecture on Invasive alien species and their impact on biodiversity in elementary and secondary schools of Ljubljana. Pupils and students learnd which organisms are a threat to inland water ecosystems.
The first two lectures were carried out on 10th and 12th September 2013 for students of 2nd class of Secondary school for design and photography. On 20th September 2013 the students of 3rd and 4th classes of Secondary commercial school Ljubljana get to know the invasive species. The lecture also enriched natural science lessons in Primary school Vide Pregarc on 24th September 2013, Primary school Bičevje and Primary school Richard Jakopič on 25th September 2013.
On 17th October 2013 we lecture at SGGOŠ Ljubljana in a context of the UNESCO national project Jezero je - jezera ni. The lectures were attended by students of Secondary Construction, Surveying and Environmental School Ljubljana, Nova Gorica Grammar School, Ledina Grammar School and Secondary Educators School and Grammar School Ljubljana .
Overall, the lectures attended by 281 pupils and students.
